Sunday the bands were alive with the chatter of folks working the Wisconsin QSO party, and I worked about three of those stations on 20 meters just for fun. I don’t believe I have made any contact with Wisconsin before today, so that’s another state down.
I dropped down to 17 meters, which always seems to produce interesting contacts, and I spoke with a French station (TW11A) on Guadaloupe. I noticed from my log I spoke with another French station (TO11A) from that island a week ago, so perhaps there is a DXpedition going on?
Another interesting contact was PJ2/IW1FC, operating on 10 meters from Curacao, off the coast of Venezuela, then I spoke with another Cuban station, CO8LY, back over on 17 meters.
I closed for the evening with a brief chat with 8R1Z, operating on 40 meters from Guyana. Good DX!
